How Artificial Neurons Are Inspired From Biological Neurons

A neuron is a basic unit of the brain that is made up of input units called dendrites, a cell body where an operation is performed on the inputs, and output units called axons. When multiple neurons are interconnected, they form a network known as a biological neural network. Artificial neural networks are inspired by this concept and are made up of artificial neurons, which are mathematical functions that have inputs, weights to determine the importance of each input, and an activation function that processes the inputs and produces an output. The output is then passed on to other units through output units, just like in a biological neuron.
